After too long...

Well, it has been a while since i have posted but there are a multitude of reasons why.
A lot has transpired in the couple of month that I have been silent.  Some of which don't bare mentioning.  So i wont.
I will say that the last week I have had work for all of one day!  yeah, major snow and ice!  It's been super freezing too, so no driving allowed  (for the smart folks anyway).  After 3 solid days indoors, i had to get out, so i went out and checked out the snow.... then decided to try out my car.  It was buried about 3 inches deep in snow, so after digging it out, it started up like nothing happened! Awesome! Then took her for a spin to Walgreens, and then got bold and went to Walmart. It was as packed as ever if not worse.  Cabin fever had attacked everyone!  I skidded a few times but it wasn't as bad as staying at home.  I don't mind hanging out with my husband, mind you, but i just need to get out periodically.  Can't be cooped up in the four walls for that long without a break! (another reason why i like to work)

We have a had a great time though during this forced quarantine.  :o) Time to connect and talk, and laugh, and play games, and be silly.

In every season of life God takes us through we see His attention to detail on our behalf.  Despite the disillusionment of human nature He provides comfort through the people that He set to love you, and  proves once again that He is the only perpetual true one. Through the haze of pain and brokenness He enables us to give comfort to those who need it more than us.  Somehow, I have to believe that this will all turn out OK, or good. Somehow. In a distant future perhaps, but it must.  Or even if it doesn't, God is sovereign even then.  Since that means that He has the right, the wisdom, and the power to do whatever He pleases, I rest in trusting that.
Some days more than others.
Seeing the corruption at almost every level all around me only reminds me that any/all can fall. All the more reason to fight on to have a life marked by private prayer and constant dependence to God at every level and every moment.

God Bless all His people everywhere.

Here i leave you with some pics i took of the snow....

My car buried in the snow....

Our apartment parking lot and the pool cabana in the back

The walk way area leading from the stairs to our cars in the parking lot.  There was a paved sidewalk and grass there once...

After clearing the snow from my drivers side window .... still a ways to go to drive away.

The scene from our back side balcony in the apartments.  The Keller roof tops.

Cool pic between the walls right outside my door. Snow makes everything look clean!
